Role: Client Success Specialist
Location: Remote working, preferably Texas. Able to travel within Texas.
Position Type: Full time (40 hours per week)
As a Client Success Specialist, you are passionate about helping new clients unlock the full potential of OnShelf, our SaaS platform. You thrive using scalable processes to guide customers through the onboarding process, ensuring they experience a smooth transition from initial sign-up to full integration, meanwhile providing key user feedback to our Product Manager and collaborating with our technical team to resolve any bugs or defects.. Your expertise lies in making the product’s value clear, providing hands-on training with the tools, and empowering clients for long-term success. You take ownership of the onboarding experience and act as a key partner for clients, setting them up for continued growth with our platform.
This role enables you to grow you career and progress to Client Success Team Lead, Client Success Manager, and even transition into Inside Sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead onboarding for new clients, ensuring they have a seamless experience from sign-up to first successful use.
- Provide personalized training and walkthroughs, helping clients understand how to use our platform for their unique needs.
- Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to ensure the handoff process is smooth and that client expectations are met.
- Monitor onboarding progress, providing guidance, and troubleshooting technical issues or client concerns.
- Develop and maintain onboarding materials, including guides, videos, and FAQs, to support client self-service.
- Gather and analyze feedback from clients during the onboarding phase to identify areas for improvement.
- Act as a liaison between the client and internal teams (product, support, etc.) to ensure any issues are addressed promptly.
- Track client engagement metrics to proactively address churn risks during the onboarding phase.
- Strategically leverage AI tools to create efficiencies and improve workflows within the onboarding process, from optimizing communication to developing new materials. Proactively explore and implement AI solutions to enhance team output and client experience.

Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in customer onboarding, customer success, or client services, ideally in SaaS or EdTech.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; you know how to explain complex ideas in simple terms.
- Technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn and explain software features.
- Demonstrated curiosity and a proactive approach to leveraging AI tools (e.g., LLMs for content generation, automation platforms) to streamline processes and create efficiencies in professional or academic settings.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-first attitude.
- Experience with CRM and onboarding tools. Preference given to candidates with experience with Hubspot and Arrows
- A passion for education technology and understanding of the challenges faced by educators and institutions.
