We’re hiring a Lead Platform Engineer to lead technical delivery across our core product. You’ll work directly with the Product Owner to shape execution, lead internal and offshore development teams, and ensure that our platform is scalable, maintainable, and high-quality.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll write and review code, delegate tasks, coordinate team activity, and help grow our engineering standards and align the team to hit timelines and deliverables. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our existing and evolving architecture is sound and production-ready.

Key Responsibilities

Lead internal and offshore development teams to deliver platform features on time and with quality
Translate product goals into technical tasks with the Product Owner
Coach and mentor developers; support a culture of ownership and accountability
Collaborate with QA to diagnose, resolve, and prevent bugs and platform issues
Manage and evolve our AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools
Maintain load testing automation, platform instrumentation, and strong test coverage
Contribute to and oversee development across:
- Node.js / TypeScript backend
- React frontend
- AI/ML services deployed via AWS
- Data ingestion and processing pipelines for book metadata

Qualifications:

6+ years of engineering experience with full-stack or platform focus
2+ years in a technical leadership or engineering management role
Expertise with AWS infrastructure and DevOps tooling
Advanced proficiency in Node.js (TypeScript) and React
Experience managing scalable systems and data pipelines
Strong communication skills and ability to lead across time zones
