Role: Inside Sales Rep - Texas K-12
Location:  Remote, Texas based (Dallas preferred)  
Position Type: Full time 
Compensation:  Competitive, based on experience.

As a hybrid inside sales rep, you’ll be the first point of contact for many districts, responsible for cold calling, prospecting, qualifying leads, and helping move deals through the early stages of the sales funnel.

You’re not just booking meetings and passing them off — you’ll nurture interest, handle early objections, and work with our closers to ensure opportunities are well-positioned to convert. EdTech experience is a bonus, but what matters most is your ability to learn fast, stay persistent, and use technology to sell smarter. This role requires inside sales expertise, problem-solving skills, and alignment with our core values of teamwork, integrity, and humility.

Key Responsibilities:

Pipeline Development & Early Deal Movement:

  • Research and identify target contacts within Texas school districts.
  • Conduct cold calls, send targeted emails, and use social channels to engage prospects.
  • Qualify prospects based on fit and interest, advancing them through the early stages of the funnel.
  • Handle early-stage objections and provide clear value propositions to district staff.
Collaboration with Closers:
  • Work closely with account executives to ensure smooth handoffs and high conversion rates.
  • Share market and prospect feedback to help refine outreach strategies and sales messaging.
Tech-Enabled Selling:
  • Use CRM, email automation, and AI tools to increase speed, personalization, and efficiency in outreach.
  • Proactively suggest ways to streamline prospecting and qualification processes.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in inside sales, lead qualification, or other high-output customer-facing roles.
  • Comfortable and confident making cold calls to busy professionals.
  • SaaS sales mindset — competitive, coachable, and driven by measurable results.
  • Quick learner able to pick up Texas K–12 basics fast, even without prior EdTech experience.
  • CRM proficiency (HubSpot preferred but not required).
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools for more than basic searches — with examples of how you’ve used AI to personalize outreach, research prospects, or automate repetitive tasks.
Bonus Points
  • Contacts with and experience selling to Superintendents and Curriculum Directors in K–12 schools
  • Startup or early-stage product experience
